Deed (indented) by which Francis Holte of Congleton concedes and confirms to Ralph Wagge, his heirs, and assigns, all those closes, fields, pastures, or parcels of land with appurtenances situate, lying, and being within the manor of Congleton and known by the name of Fletchers holts, formerly in the tenure or occupation of John Rowson alias Fletcher deceased, and formerly parcel of the tenements etc in the occupation of Elizabethe Rowson alias Fletcher, widow, and late in the occupation of the said Francis Holte and which he lately acquired to him and his heirs of a certain Richard Tomlyns, gent, which premises lie within the metes and bounds following, namely on the east of land of John Lathum senior, alderman of Congleton, and lands of the said Ralph Wagge and the mayor and commonality of Congleton on the west, and lands of the heirs of William Moreton on the north, and a certain great close called Conyngrie, parcel of the lordship of the king in Congleton on the south; to hold the same for ever.
